PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT - 2015

(Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.65 - 153.73)

The Board of Fulton County Commissioners will receive Statements of Qualifications from interested design firms for engineering, and/or planning services for the Fulton County Department of Public Utilities until 4:00 pm, local time, on December 19, 2014.  Firms interested in being considered for contracts to provide design services for various projects should submit a Statement of Qualifications, which should include information regarding the firm’s competence to perform professional design services indicated by the technical training, education, and experience of the firm’s personnel, particularly those persons who would be assigned to perform services for said Department.  Statements should also include information relative to the firm’s workload and availability of qualified personnel, equipment and facilities to perform the required professional design services competently and expeditiously; and past performance of the firm as reflected by the evaluations of previous clients with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and meeting of deadlines.  Statements shall also address the firm’s previous experience with the Department and other public agencies in Fulton County.

The Board of Fulton County Commissioners will select firms to be notified of specific pending projects during calendar year 2014.  Firms selected based on Statement of Qualifications will be notified by the Director of Public Utilities when a contract for a specific project with an estimated design fee of more than $50,000 becomes available for submission of more specific qualifications.  No other notification will be made. Statements of Qualifications will remain on-file through calendar year 2015. Firms are encouraged to update their Statement of Qualifications as they deem appropriate.
