The Fulton County Commissioners have applied to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for registration of a 33 foot high steel lattice tower as part of their proposed Automated Weather Observation System installation at the Fulton County Airport. The proposed tower will be lighted with a red, steady burning obstruction light and marked in accordance Federal Aviation Administration regulations. It will be located at latitude
41-36-42.5N, longitude 84-07-39.0W on property owned by the Commissioners just north of the paved runway. Interested parties may review the tower registration application by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering form 854 file number of A0803191. Interested parties may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC. The FCC strongly encourages those wishing to file a Request for Environmental Review to do so online, in accordance with instructions found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest.
