The Fulton County Commissioners have applied to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for registration of a 33 foot high steel lattice tower as part of their proposed Automated Weather Observation System installation at the Fulton County Airport. The proposed tower will be lighted with a red, steady burning obstruction light and marked in accordance Federal Aviation Administration regulations. It will be located at latitude
41-36-42.5N, longitude 84-07-39.0W on property owned by the Commissioners just north of the paved runway. Interested parties may review the tower registration application by going to and entering form 854 file number of A0803191. Interested parties may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC.
