[ARCHIVED] Help Wanted-Eligibility Referral Specialist


Do you like a fast-paced work environment? Are you able to multitask? Do you enjoy working with the public and helping others? Then we want you! An Eligibility Referral Specialist interviews and determines eligibility for public assistance programs such as Food Stamps and Medicaid. We offer intensive in-house training to prepare you to be successful in this position. This position requires a minimum completion of undergraduate major core course work in behavioral science or social science or education or business; solid interviewing techniques; proficient computer skills; plus basic math and English skills. Experience in this field is a bonus. Starting rate is $11.75 hour with compensation for experience. A background record check, physical and drug screen are required along with a clean driving record with a valid Driver’s License. This is a 40 hour a week full-time position from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm weekdays with excellent benefits.
