[ARCHIVED] Opportunity for Out of School Youth Ages 18-21!

The WIA Youth Program is designed to help youth prepare for successful entry into the workforce. This encompasses a variety of services: basic job skills development, career exploration and planning, college or training planning, work experience, job search assistance, leadership development opportunities, and more. An individualized employment plan is developed for each youth, and the WIA program works with the youth until the goals in the plan are met. .

To be eligible for the program, youth must meet the income guidelines, and must have at least one barrier towards employment. The attached yellow paper gives more specific information about eligibility requirements.

To discuss the program in general or a youth in particular, please feel free to contact Cara Leininger, Fulton County WIA Youth Advisor, at (419) 906-7400.
