[ARCHIVED] Postcards from the Secretary of State's Office

a postcard with information on vote-by-mail options for the march 17th primary election

Every registered voter in the state of Ohio should be receiving a postcard like the one in the image attached to this post. This postcard lays out the options for requesting an absentee ballot for this election. PLEASE NOTE that the second option on the left, calling the Board of Elections, does NOT mean that you may request a ballot over the phone. You may call the office to have a request form mailed to you, but this is the least efficient option as you will need to wait for the mail to deliver your form and then send it back to us before a ballot can be mailed, and one of the other methods would be preferable with the election deadline rapidly approaching. In addition to the methods laid out on the postcard, we also have a box with applications available for pickup outside of our office at any time. Completed applications and voted ballots may be left in the secure drop box next to our front door.

If you have already voted by mail or during our in-person voting hours, your original vote will be counted. You are not eligible to receive an additional ballot for this election.

More information about the absentee voting process can be found in our previous Primary Election Update: https://www.fulton.boe.ohio.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=2765
