Hepatitis A Outbreak in Ohio
The Department of Medicaid has asked us to make you aware of a dangerous Hepatitis A outbreak that is occurring in Ohio. Since the start of the outbreak on 1/5/18 there have been 1,931 cases in Ohio. Gender is 60% male. 1,194 individuals have been hospitalized with seven deaths. Seventy-one of the eighty-eight Ohio counties have had cases. Fulton has had one case recorded since 1/5/18.
