FULTON COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

The Public Assistance Department which includes the following: 

Medicaid, SNAP/Food Assistance, PRC (Prevention, Retention & Contingency) and OWF/TANF (Ohio Works First); eligibility systems will be inactive for a three-day span in August including:

Thursday, August 23, 2018-all day; 12AM-11:59PM

Friday, August 24, 2018-all day; 12AM-11:59PM

Monday, August 27, 2018-all day; 12AM-11:59PM


What does this mean?

The Public Assistance Department will be UNABLE to: 


Process ALL applications including-Expedited Food Assistance/SNAP Applications, Medicaid and PRC Applications.

Process pending applications (cases that have not been approved/denied)

Review case notes AND current eligibility

Process incoming mail, faxes, email(s), and items received in the office/in person. 



Note: Staff will be limited and customers will be notified of the above information when they arrive or via phone if individuals call into the agency.  Please be patient during this time as the State of Ohio is converting the Public Assistance Programs to a web-based system to better serve internal and external customers.  Thank you for your understanding!
