Women, Infants & Children (WIC) is a nutrition education program that provides highly nutritious supplemental foods which promote good health for pregnant and postpartum women, breastfeeding mothers, infants and children up to the age of five.  WIC's most important goal is the prevention of nutrition-related health problems.

WIC provides:

*Nutrition education and support 

*Breastfeeding education and support 

*Referral for health care

*Immunization screening and referral 

*Supplemental foods such as: cereal, eggs, milk, whole-grains, 

fruits and vegetables, and infant formula.
