FULTON COUNTY SENIOR CENTER TO HOST DIABETES EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Fulton County Senior Center is hosting a Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP) starting Tuesday, July 24 at 9:30 am through 11:45 am at the Fulton County Senior Center, 240 Clinton St., Wauseon, OH. Classes will be held every Tuesday for six weeks, beginning on July 24th at 9:30 am.
Robert Sullivan from the Area Office on Aging will lead this class and provide education on how diabetics can best manage their disease and live an active, normal life. Recently updated curriculum will cover self-management of diabetes, weight control, eating well with diabetes, and the role of medications with a diabetes diagnosis, among other topics.
