LEGAL NOTICE

Fulton County Job & Family Services is Requesting Qualification for a Visitation Program with consumers referred from Fulton County Job and Family Services. FCJFS wishes to contract with an experienced community consultant for assistance in the design and implementation of providing visitation services as follows:

The Visitation Program shall be comprised of services that include supervising visitations of children who are in the custody of FCJFS in order to strengthen the parent-child relationship and work towards reunification of the family, The goal of the Visitation program is to oversee the visitations in a pleasant atmosphere and to work with the parents to help them regain custody of their children.

The Visitation Program must:

? Provide supervised visitations in the sub-recipients’ work site or a site designated by the sub-recipient. The site must have an environment where the visitations take place in a room/area that is family/children friendly, is not utilized by others during the visits and be safe for children to play in while in visitation with their parents.
• Survey by adults using this service
• Promote and encourage positive life styles, positive parenting, and family stability;
• Promote and encourage self-sufficiency and self-advocacy;
• Assure that children are well cared for during their visitations.
• Work with family during the visitations to transition children from residential placement to home, if necessary;
• Available to supervise visitations daily, weekends, and evenings when required to meet the needs of the family.

This contract is contingent upon the availability of funding. In the discretion of the agency, should funding not be available for the proposed services, this contract may be terminated or reduced as determined necessary by the agency.
