What is Getting Ahead?

A 12 Class Workshop to help low to moderate income families understand poverty, learn about local resources, and get support from other families in similar situations. Participants receive a $20 Walmart Gift Card for every class they complete which is a total of $240.

Classes include investigating their own personal resources such as: physical, mental, financial, spiritual, relationships (support systems) language, hidden rules of society, and so much more.

 Participants Eligibility: 

• NOCAC 6 County Service area: Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Van Wert, and Williams
• Meet Income Guidelines of 200% of Poverty Level
