  1. 41st Annual Quilt Show at Sauder Village in Archbold

    May 2 - May 7

    Celebrate the rich tradition of quilting at northwest Ohio’s premiere quilting event! With hundreds of quilts on display, the annual Quilt Show at Sauder Village is always a kaleidoscope of color and creativity! Quilts will be on full-length display in categories ranging from pieced, appliqué and mixed ?technique to contemporary art, masters, baby, miniatures and youth. The week is made up of the quilt exhibition, creative demonstrat?ions as well as full-day workshops all set in the charming setting of Historic Sauder Village, with beautiful accommodations at the Heritage Inn or Sauder Campground and the delicious food of the Barn Restaurants and Doughbox bakery. Hands-on activities and plenty of shopping opportunities at Threads of Tradition Quilt Shop will add to the events of this fun-filled week. Whether you participate in a portion or all aspects of the week, plan now to attend one of the most respected and popular quilting events in the mid-west... you will be glad you did!

  2. Archbold's Sauder Village Opens for the Season!

    Experience Ohio's historic past from 1803 to 1928! Explore the Historic Village with a walk through time from 1803 to 1928. Hear stories shared by costumed guides in historic homes and shops, take a ride on the Erie Express train, visit animals in the farmyard and marvel at working craftsmen blending skill and creativity in glass, metal, fiber, wood and clay.

  3. Shrektacular

    May 6, 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM @ 4-H Camp Palmer

    Calling all Ogres and Princesses. This magical day camp is filled with activities that will resolve around the movie Sherk. Outdoor Survival Skills and a Medieval Meal will be the focas of the day. Teh camp will cover what every Ogre needs to know. Activities include, crafts, swamp survival, and manners learned from Shrek. We will also have "Donkey" on site as a special guest visitor. This day camp is for both boys and girls in grades K-5.
