In 2013, Bill Rufenacht began his first four-year term as Fulton County Commissioner, after being elected to the office.

Rufenacht earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Bowling Green State University. He owned and operated Bill’s Locker Room, a sporting goods store with locations in Archbold, Wauseon and Bryan, for 25 years before retiring in 1999. He served on Archbold Village Council from 2001-2005.
He is a native of Fulton County having graduated from Archbold High School. He resides in German Township. Board Information
